Cataratta standard
L’unica opzione terapeutica efficace per la cataratta è la chirurgia della cataratta. Il cristallino naturale viene rimosso e sostituito con una lente intraoculare artificiale.
Con oltre un milione di interventi all'anno, l'intervento di cataratta è uno degli interventi più comuni in Germania. Le lenti intraoculari monofocali (IOL standard) sono la cura standard più comune qui.
